DescriptionThese qualifications are designed to prepare workers for employment within the Aged, Community services or Disability settings. The course has been designed to ensure that students learn the important physical and cognitive skills required to successfully work within these setting, develop meaningful relationships with workers and clients, provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, a disability or some other reason and meet the personal care needs of clients within their relevant settings. Qualification informationCHC33015 Certificate III in Individual support consists of 13 units of competency made up of 7 core units and 6 elective units. PrerequisiteThe ability to participate in and complete manual tasks including bending, pulling, pushing, reaching and lifting; comprehend, communicate and complete assessment tasks in English, commit to and meet set timeframes; complete studies outside of the classroom setting; complete basic computer based tasks.
